Regular Season Round 19: Quintanar - Pinto Basket 87-68

Very expected game when 13th ranked Pinto Basket (5-12) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Quintanar (9-8) 87-68 on Saturday. Quintanar dominated down low during the game scoring 36 of its points in the paint compared to Pinto Basket's 16. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Ukrainian forward Artem Yailo (202-2000) fired 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Canadian-Haitian guard Richardson Maitre (190-1998, college: Samford, agency: Helping Ballers) chipped in 20 points and 4 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Quintanar's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bah Youssouf produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Jorge Molina added 14 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Quintanar moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Pinto Basket dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Quart-Germans C and La Solana. Quintanar will meet BT Madrid (#11) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Pinto Basket will play against Valsequillo and hope to secure a win.
