Regular Season Round 23: Gimbasket - Koscian 47-81

Very predictable result in Wroclaw where fourth ranked Koscian (19-5) outscored 16th ranked Gimbasket (2-22) 81-47 on Saturday. Koscian dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Gimbasket's 24. Koscian forced 26 Gimbasket turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Michal Rybakowski (195-1998) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Stanislaw Kiszka (194-1997) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Koscian players scored in double figures. Koscian's coach Szymon Pietraszek felt very confident that he used 10 players saving starting five for next games. Guard Ernest Wacyra (182-1999) responded with 15 points and forward Filip Tyminski (192-2003) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Koscian have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Tarnovia and Notec Inowr. Gimbasket lost twentieth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 22 games lost. They share it with AZS PCz. Koscian will meet at home Gorzow (#13) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Gimbasket will play against Siechnice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
