The most exciting game of round 16 in the Damligan took place in Ostersund. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 4th ranked Ostersund (9-8) to seventh ranked Alvik Basket (8-8) 60-58 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Aquira Decosta (185-2000, college: Sacramento St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 24 rebounds and the other American import guard Kyah Proctor (168-1995, college: Bowie St.) who added 15 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American Jessica Kelliher (183-1997, college: Lewis) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Danielle Elvbo (169-1994) scored 14 points. Alvik Basket moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Mark. Ostersund at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Uppsala. Alvik Basket is looking forward to face IK Eos (#8) in Lund in the next round. Ostersund will have a break next round.
