It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Mataro UE. Mataro Parc made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Antonio Ruiz (-1997) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Swingman Albert Serra (193-1993) accounted for 10 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Naturalized Gambian forward Omaru Toure (199-1994) came up with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Jordi Juanola (196-1998) added 17 points respectively for Mataro UE in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Mataro Parc have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 8 other teams. Mataro UE at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Gijon. Mataro Parc will play against Castelldefels (#8) on the road in the next round. Mataro UE will play against Almozara (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
