There was no surprise when 7th ranked Granollers (9-9) was defeated at home by third ranked Roser (11-7) 80-67 on Saturday. Roser outrebounded Granollers 39-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. Point guard Adria Cortegano (185-2000) fired 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Sergi Tubert (195-1991) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Jordi Serra (-1995) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and forward Carles Homs (196-1996) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Roser have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain third place with 11-7 record having seven points less than leader Huelva CD, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Granollers keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. Roser will meet at home Helios (#14) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Granollers will play against Olivar (#10) in Zaragoza and hope to secure a win.
