Regular Season Round 19: Pruszkow - Lublin 67-95

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Pruszkow (2-17) was crushed at home by fifth ranked Lublin (10-7) 95-67 on Saturday. Lublin looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Sparkle Taylor (178-1995, college: UTEP) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian swingman Katarina Zec (180-1997, college: UTEP) helped adding 24 points. Four Lublin players scored in double figures. At the losing side Magdalena Parysek-Bochniak (182-1989) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Weronika Papiernik (174-1998) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Pruszkow's coach Bartlomiej Przelazly gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Lublin moved-up to fourth place. Pruszkow lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Lublin will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pruszkow will play against Katarzynki (#9) in Torun and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
