Not a big story in a game in Zaragoza where 14th ranked El Olivar (2-17) was defeated by fifth ranked Maresme (13-6) 58-51 on Saturday. Laia Soler (185-2001, college: Boise St.) fired 5 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Paula Curto (175-1997) chipped in 6 points and 7 rebounds. Davinia Angel (-2004) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and Leire Martinez (-2002) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Maresme have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 13-6 record. El Olivar lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 17 games lost. Maresme's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Barcelona Barna.
