Rather expected game in Poznan where 6th ranked Pyra (16-8) was rolled over by third ranked Notec Inowr. (19-5) 101-74 on Saturday. Notec Inowr. made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Pyra turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for Piotr Robak (194-1991) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Mikolaj Grod (194-1989) helped adding 22 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Marcin Flieger (185-1984) responded with 24 points and Przemyslaw Szymanski (198-1984) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Notec Inowr. have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Koscian and Tarnovia. Loser Pyra keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. They share it with Rybnik and Bielsko-Biala. Notec Inowr. will meet at home SMS PZKosz (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Pyra will play against LKS Lodz 2 and hope to secure a win.
