No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Sassari (15-4) defeated on the road 9th ranked Faenza (6-14) 83-70 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Swedish forward Elin Gustavsson (190-1993, college: Colorado St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Polish guard Anna Makurat (184-2000, college: UConn) who added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Four Sassari players scored in double figures. Nigerian forward Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah (188-1997, college: Northwestern) responded with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 21 rebounds and American guard Jori Davis (178-1989, college: Indiana) scored 10 points.
