Damligan top team - Sodertalje (14-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighth ranked IK Eos (7-9) 118-91. Sodertalje dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to IK Eos' 54. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international power forward Louice Halvarsson (191-1989) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. International guard Klara Lundquist (173-1999) chipped in 25 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Sodertalje players scored in double figures. Coach Jesper Sundberg's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American swingman Courtajia Sanders (185-1999, college: UCF) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Deja Church (178-1998, college: DePaul) added 27 points respectively for lost side. Sodertalje maintains first position with 14-2 record. Loser IK Eos keep the eighth place with nine games lost. Sodertalje will meet Mark (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. IK Eos will play against Alvik Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
