Top Division Women top team - Kangoeroes (14-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Kortrijk Spurs (8-7) 80-43. Kangoeroes dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Kortrijk Spurs' 20. Kangoeroes forced 24 Kortrijk Spurs turnovers and outrebounded them 37-23 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a quality performance for American Morgan Bertsch (190-1997, college: UC Davis, agency: LBM Management) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. Chilean center Ziomara Morrison (194-1989, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. Kangoeroes' coach Arvid Diels felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International forward Ine Joris (187-2001) came up with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Lisa Foucart (172-1992) added 11 points respectively for Kortrijk Spurs in the defeat. The victory was the fourteenth consecutive win for Kangoeroes. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-0 record. Kortrijk Spurs at the other side keep the sixth position with seven games lost. Kangoeroes will play against Brunehaut (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kortrijk Spurs will play against Waregem and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
