Regular Season Round 15: Chartres - SIG 63-60

The most exciting game of round 15 in the LF2 took place in Chartres. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked SIG (7-8) to third ranked Chartres (10-5) 63-60 on Saturday evening. Chartres had a 25-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American-Nigerian forward Nicole Enabosi (183-1997, college: Delaware) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Margot Bienvenu (183-1997) helped adding 9 points and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was Spanish point guard Binta Drame-Lo (171-2002) with 18 points and Louise Dambach (176-1996) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Chartres moved-up to second place, which they share with Feytiat. SIG lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Champagne. Chartres is looking forward to face Mondeville (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SIG will play against La Tronche and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
