Very important is a road loss of third ranked Hapoel Holon (12-6) against fourth ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (10-6) on Sunday night. Visiting Hapoel Holon was defeated by Hapoel Jerusalem in Jerusalem 91-73. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Hapoel Holon. Hapoel Jerusalem shot the lights out from three nailing 19 long-distance shots on high 63.3 percentage. American swingman Levi Randolph (196-1992, college: Alabama, agency: Slash Sports) nailed 17 points and 5 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import point guard Brandon Brown (183-1989, college: UMW) accounted for 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Hapoel Jerusalem's coach Aleksandar Dzikic used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-1989, college: Wichita St.) came up with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American center Marvin Jones (213-1993, college: Texas Southern) added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Hapoel Holon in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel Jerusalem have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 10-6 record. Defending champion Hapoel Holon keeps the third position with six games lost. Hapoel Jerusalem will play against league's second-placed Hapoel Tel-Aviv in Tel Aviv in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hapoel Holon will play at home against Hapoel Haifa and hopes to get back on the winning track.
