Regular Season Round 26: Zgorzelec - Radom 87-86

Important game to mention about took place in Zgorzelec. Seventeenth ranked Turow (7-19) saved a 1-point victory at home edging second-ranked HydroTruck (19-7) 87-86 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. Strangely HydroTruck outrebounded Turow 41-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Bartosz Bochno (193-1988) saved the victory by scoring 14 points and 5 assists. Guard Krzysztof Jakobczyk (183-1986) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Damian Jeszke (202-1995) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and American point guard Kaheem Ransom (186-1993, college: SHSU) added 22 points and 10 assists in the effort for HydroTruck. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. HydroTruck's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Turow moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with Bytom. HydroTruck at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Turow will play against Polonia (#17) in Bytom in the next round. HydroTruck will play at home against GKS (#4) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
