The game in Ventspils supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Liepaja (12-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Ventspils Spars (6-9). Liepaja smashed Ventspils Spars 94-68 on Sunday. Liepaja looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Kristaps Soldatenoks (192-2005) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 4 assists and Adrians Visockis-Rubenis (194-2005) who added 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Liepaja players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Janis Censonis (185-2005) with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Toms Salnajs (199-2005) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Liepaja have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Ogre. Loser Ventspils Spars keep the eighth position with nine games lost.
