Regular Season Round 23: Cracovia - MKS DG 2 66-80

There was a surprise result in Krakow where ninth ranked MKS DG 2 (11-13) won against higher ranked Cracovia (17-7) 80-66 on Sunday. MKS DG 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Cracovia's 22. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for Dawid Boryka (188-1997) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Kacper Dziedzic (188-2003) helped adding 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four MKS DG 2 players scored in double figures. Point guard Patryk Halka (186-2001) responded with 18 points and 6 assists and swingman Blazej Karlik (195-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Cracovia's coach Lukasz Kasperzec let to play twelve players saving starting five for next games. MKS DG 2 moved-up to eighth place. Loser Cracovia dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Lowicz and Katy Wroc.. MKS DG 2 will meet at home Tychy 2 (#14) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Cracovia will play against AZS PC (#15) in Czestochowa and hope to secure a win.
