Fifth defeat of league's leader Pistoia (17-5) against tenth ranked Chiusi (8-14) 79-62 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Pistoia. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Nigerian guard Daniel Utomi (198-1997, college: USC) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Lester Medford Jr (178-1993, college: Baylor) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Chiusi players scored in double figures. American forward Jordon Varnado (198-1997, college: Troy) replied with 25 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Zach Copeland (193-1997, college: Illinois St.) added 18 points in the effort for Pistoia. Chiusi moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Pistoia at the other side dropped to the second position with five games lost.
