Regular Season Round 8: NSK - SK Nord 65-75

Rather expected game when 7th ranked NSK (5-11) lost to fifth ranked SK Nord (7-8) in Tartu 65-75 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-65. Strangely NSK outrebounded SK Nord 53-30 including a 29-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by guard Marten Alles (188-2007) who scored that evening 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and Juhan-Joosep Maiste (-2007) supported him with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Even 22 points and 6 rebounds by Jarek Pilt (-2007) did not help to save the game for NSK. Sepo Hiiemae (-2007) added 10 points and 11 rebounds for the hosts. SK Nord moved-up to fourth place. NSK lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 11 games lost.
