Everything went according to plan in Seu D'urgell where fourth ranked Zaragoza (16-6) beat 9th ranked Cadi La Seu (9-13) 74-67 on Sunday. Zaragoza made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American-U.S. Virgin Islands swingman Imani Tate (175-1995, college: Albany) who scored 11 points and 5 assists. German Leonie Fiebich (193-2000) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Zaragoza players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Stephanie Watts (180-1997, college: UNC) who recorded 22 points and 5 rebounds and guard Laia Raventos (170-1997, college: Charlotte) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Zaragoza maintains fourth place with 16-6 record. Cadi La Seu at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Ensino. Zaragoza will meet at home Gran Canaria (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cadi La Seu will play against IDK Eustotren in San Sebastian and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
