Very expected game in Torun where 9th ranked Katarzynki (6-13) was rolled over by first ranked Gorzow Wlkp. (17-1) 101-50 on Monday. Gorzow Wlkp. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Katarzynki's 26 and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Katarzynki's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Gorzow Wlkp.. They maintain first place with 17-1 record. Katarzynki lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 13 games lost. Gorzow Wlkp. will meet at home Polonia W-wa (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Katarzynki will play against Pruszkow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
