Another exciting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Tbilisi: Tbilisi (#2) and Brooklyn (#6). Tbilisi (5-1) crushed visiting Brooklyn (0-5) by 31 points 80-49. The game without a history. Tbilisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brooklyn to just 7 points in third quarter. Tbilisi forced 21 Brooklyn turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Brooklyn's players. It was an exceptional evening for guard Andria Mgeladze (180) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Nikoloz Berdzenishvili accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Forward Giorgi Abutidze (188-2005) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and guard Giorgi Gabedava (186-2007) added 13 points respectively for Brooklyn in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tbilisi have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 5-1 record behind leader Rustavi. Brooklyn at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Telavi and Gori. Tbilisi's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi .
