Not a big story in a game in Athens where 13th ranked Agriniou (7-12) was defeated by seventh ranked AO Triton (11-6) 73-67 on Wednesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when AO Triton made 7 blocks. American point guard Marcus Myers (185-1996, college: Aurora, agency: Octagon Europe) fired 25 points for the winners. Serbian Nemanja Manojlovic (197-1993) chipped in 16 points. Four AO Triton players scored in double figures. Finnish guard Kalin Fisher (188-1996, college: Hampton) produced 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Dimitris Tsourgianis (200-2001) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. AO Triton moved-up to fifth place. Loser Agriniou dropped to the twelfth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Aias Evosmou. AO Triton's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Athens to the arena Psychikou.
