The game between Top Four teams took place in Stykkisholmur. Third ranked host Snaefell (14-6) smashed one of their biggest challengers KR (11-8) 78-47. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of KR. The game without a history. Snaefell led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding KR to just 4 points in second quarter. Snaefell forced 21 KR turnovers. American power forward Cheah Rael-Whitsitt (180, college: Texas A&M) fired a double-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Bulgarian center Preslava Koleva (191-1999) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Violet Morrow (176-1997, college: EWU, agency: Interperformances) produced 13 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Hulda Bergsteinsdottir (180-1999) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. KR's coach Hordur Unnsteinsson gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Snaefell maintains third position with 14-6 record having just two points less than leader Thor AK. Loser KR keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Snaefell will meet at home Armann (#6) in the next round. KR will play against the league's second-placed Stjarnan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
