Regular Season Round 20: Psychikou - AO Triton 82-72

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Athens: Psychikou (#7) and AO Triton (#5). Psychikou (12-8) won against visiting AO Triton (11-7) 82-72. American point guard Ronaldo Segu (183-1999, college: Buffalo) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points. The other American import forward Craig Victor II (201-1995, college: LSU) contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Center Panagiotis Tsamis (204-2002) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Michalis Kamperidis (206-1994, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for AO Triton. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Psychikou moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Iraklis. AO Triton at the other side dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. Psychikou will play against league's leader Panerythraikos in New Eritrea in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. AO Triton will play on the road against Charilaos (#11) in Mesolongi and hopes to get back on the winning track.
