We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Malaga where 7th ranked Unicaja-Andalucia (7-9) was defeated by eighth ranked Novaschool (7-10) 90-86 on Saturday. Novaschool forced 24 Unicaja-Andalucia turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Ruben Salas (207-2003) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 9 rebounds and Juan Cebrian (-2002) who added 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Swingman Mario Saint-Supery (193-2006) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and forward Ruben Vicente (199-2005) scored 22 points and 5 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Novaschool maintains eighth position with 7-10 record, which they share with Torta del Casar and BT Madrid. Loser Unicaja-Andalucia keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. Novaschool will meet CAM E.Soler 2 (#12) in the next round.
