Regular Season Round 22: J.Gora - Katy Wrocl. 89-64

There was no surprise in Jelenia Gora where 8th ranked Katy Wrocl. (9-10) was crushed by sixth ranked J.Gora (12-8) 89-64 on Saturday. J.Gora forced 24 Katy Wrocl. turnovers. It was a great shooting night for J.Gora especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Katy Wrocl.'s players. Alicja Szloser (179-1997) scored 21 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Aleksandra Lorenz (186-1999) chipped in 18 points during the contest. Four J.Gora players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Barbara Lachacz (170-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Iga Walentowska (170-1994) scored 16 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. J.Gora moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Rybnik. Loser Katy Wrocl. keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. J.Gora will meet higher ranked Bochnia (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Katy Wrocl. will play against Pol.Krakow (#4) and hope to secure a win.
