Regular Season Round 22: Peja - Prizreni 115-79

Superliga top team - Peja (16-3) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Prizreni (6-14) 115-79. They outrebounded Prizreni 44-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Peja shot the lights out from three sinking 24 long-distance shots on high 51.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Prizreni's players. American players dominated the game. Center Bradley Waldow (208-1991, college: St.Mary's, CA, agency: Octagon Europe) notched 8 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and Jalen Tate (198-1998, college: Arkansas) supported him with 29 points. Peja's coach Can Sevim felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds by point guard Adam Grant (185-1997, college: Bryant) did not help to save the game for Prizreni. Guard Wayne Arnold (193, college: CUI) added 24 points for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Peja have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-3 record. Prizreni lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 14 games lost. Peja will meet league's second-placed Ylli in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Prizreni's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Prizren Bashkimi.
