There was a small surprise in Barcelona where eleventh ranked Igualada (7-12) defeated 9th ranked SESE (9-10) 84-79 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of center Eduard Tejero (196-1992) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and Carles Fons (189-1991) who added 13 points during the contest. Power forward Alberto Reyes (195-1990) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Victor Sanchez scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four SESE players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Igualada moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 7 other teams. Loser SESE dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Igualada will meet at home higher ranked Roser (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. SESE will play against Tarragona (#5) and hope to secure a win.
