Regular Season Round 16: Mondeville - Chartres 53-60

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Mondeville (6-10) was defeated at home by third ranked Chartres (11-5) 60-53 on Saturday. Chartres outrebounded Mondeville 39-26 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Nigerian forward Nicole Enabosi (183-1997, college: Delaware) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 9 rebounds and forward Eve Mahoutou (181-2001) who added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Chartres' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side naturalized Moroccan Sarah Ousfar (183-1993) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Vaciana Gomis (172-2002) scored 13 points and 4 steals. Chartres moved-up to second place, which they share with Feytiat. Loser Mondeville keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Calais. Chartres will meet at home Calais (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mondeville will play against La Tronche and hope to secure a win.
