No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked Megaridas (10-9) smashed on the road bottom-ranked Kavalas (1-18) 80-58 on Saturday. They outrebounded Kavalas 41-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Dimitrios Geromichalos who helped to win the game recording 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and forward Akis Kallinikidis (197-1977) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Guard Marios Poulianitis (190-1998) responded with 14 points and American guard Antwain Johnson (188-1997, college: Buffalo, agency: Green Sports Management) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Megaridas moved-up to ninth place. Kavalas lost seventh consecutive game. They stay dead last with 18 lost games. Megaridas will meet at home Agriniou (#12) in the next round. Kavalas will play against Aias Evosmou (#13) and hope to win that game.
