The game with biggest result difference took place in Riga. Local Riga/Juniores (2-16) were outscored by eighth ranked Lithuanian LCC Tarp. (9-7) 85-59 on Sunday night. LCC Tarp. had a 30-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Brazilian Maisa Pereira (183-2002, agency: Interperformances) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Brazilian Maiara Pereira (185-2002, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four LCC Tarp. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Franciska Treiliha (177-2004) with 21 points and 5 rebounds and forward Sarlote Petersone (173-2003) scored 8 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. LCC Tarp. moved-up to seventh place. Riga/Juniores lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 16 games lost. LCC Tarp. will meet league's second-placed RSU in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Riga/Juniores will play against Daugavpils Universitate (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
