There was an upset in Murcia where higher ranked Infante (10-8) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Jorge Juan (1-18) 74-62 on Sunday. Strangely Infante outrebounded Jorge Juan 54-39 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Antonio Garcia (-1994) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Mateo Fernandez (-1995) who added 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Jorge Juan players scored in double figures. Forward Alvaro Bernal (190) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and power forward Dario Sarrias (200-1995) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds.
