Regular Season Round 28: Pelplin - Dziki Wwa 62-73

Everything went according to plan in Pelpin where third ranked Dziki (20-8) beat 11th ranked Decka (13-15) 73-62. Decka was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by power forward Mateusz Bartosz (205-1987) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and Michal Aleksandrowicz (192-1989) supported him with 16 points. Four Dziki players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds by center Piotr Winkowski (208-2003) did not help to save the game for Decka. American forward Thomas Davis (198-1991, college: SWOSU) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dziki moved-up to second place, which they share with Radom. Decka at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Dziki will play against Miast Szkla (#10) in Krosno in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Decka will have a break next round.
