No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked BC Lulea (16-11) edged at home 9th ranked Uppsala (11-16) 66-63 on Thursday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Brendan Bailey (203-1997, college: Marquette) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Ladarien Griffin (200-1996, college: St.Bonaventure) accounted for 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Niklas Larsson (199-1994) came up with 19 points and 4 assists and American forward Jalyn Hinton (198-1998, college: SE Louisiana, agency: GoEmpire Group) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Uppsala in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. BC Lulea moved-up to fourth place. Uppsala lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with 16 games lost. BC Lulea will meet Koping Stars (#7) on the road in the next round. Uppsala will have a break next round.
