The game in Brest was also worth to mention about. Seventh ranked RGUOR (5-16) played at the court of 8th ranked Brest (4-18). RGUOR managed to secure a 6-point victory 66-60. RGUOR forced 36 Brest turnovers. Strangely Brest outrebounded RGUOR 47-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for Daria Kulik (-2008) who led her team to a victory with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Anastasia Selivon (-2007) contributed with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four RGUOR players scored in double figures. Forward Anastasia Babak (180-2002) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and forward Anastasia Golovchiner (184-2002) added 12 points in the effort for Brest. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted RGUOR maintains seventh position with 5-16 record. Brest at the other side keeps the eighth place with 18 games lost. RGUOR will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Brest will play on the road against the league's leader Gorizont (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
