Rather expected game in Pamplona where 7th ranked La Roda (10-11) was defeated by fourth ranked Navarra (14-7) 73-60 on Saturday. Forward Inaki Ordonez (207-2003) stepped up and scored 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and guard Raul Lobaco (195-2000) chipped in 14 points. Four Navarra players scored in double figures. Navarra's coach Jordi Juste used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was forward Adrian Mendez (195-1993) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and DR Congolese center Gullit Mukendi (203-1996, agency: Promo Sport ID) scored 13 points. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Navarra. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Zornotza and Benicarlo. Loser La Roda keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Ponferrada. Navarra will meet Baskonia B (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. La Roda will play against Zamora (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
