Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked La Solana (5-14) lost to seventh ranked Tenerife Naut. (10-9) in Santa Cruz 84-92 on Saturday. Tenerife Naut. outrebounded La Solana 44-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. Forward Javier Herreros (198-1994) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side and swingman Imobach Gonzalez (193-1993) accounted for 20 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Tenerife Naut.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Naturalized Dominican guard Sdenry Gonzalez (187-2002) came up with 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Dario Dondarza added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively for La Solana in the defeat. Tenerife Naut. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Newly promoted La Solana dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost.
