Regular Season Round 25: RIG Mark - AIK Basket 64-66

A very close game took place in Kinna between AIK Basket and RIG Mark. Eighth ranked AIK Basket (10-12) got a very close victory on the road over 11th ranked RIG Mark (7-12). AIK Basket managed to escape with a 2-point win 66-64 on Saturday evening. Benjamin Yombi (-2003) stepped up and scored 15 points for the winners and Olle Welander (-2000) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side Eddie Hedqvist (-2005) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Max Andersson (187-2004) scored 10 points and 8 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. AIK Basket maintains eighth place with 10-12 record, which they share with IK Eos. Loser RIG Mark keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. AIK Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. RIG Mark will play against Norrort (#3) in Taby and hope to secure a win.
