Rather expected game when 5th ranked Genero (11-9) lost on the road to third ranked Plasencia (14-5) 63-46 on Saturday. Plasencia dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Genero's 24. They outrebounded Genero 38-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Irene Viruel (-2000) nailed 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and American swingman Amy Griffin (183-1996, college: La Salle) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds. Plasencia's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
