Regular Season Round 23: Wisla Krakow - Aleksandrow L. 81-44

No shocking result in a game when first ranked Wisla Krakow (21-1) crushed at home 13th ranked Aleksandrow L. (1-19) 81-44 on Saturday. Wisla Krakow dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Aleksandrow L.'s 30. Wisla Krakow forced 37 Aleksandrow L. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Aleksandrow L.'s players. It was an exceptional evening for Martyna Stasiuk (178-1989) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Guard Julia Natkaniec (171-2000) accounted for 11 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Four Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. Forward Oliwia Beben (175-2005) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and forward Joanna Szeklicka (189-2005) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Aleksandrow L. in the defeat. Wisla Krakow have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 21-1 record. Aleksandrow L. lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 19 games lost. Wisla Krakow will meet Gorzow Wlkp. II (#12) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Aleksandrow L. will play against Katy Wrocl. in Katy Wroclawskie and hope to win that game.
