Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Tirana: Partizani (#3) and Studenti (#5). Studenti was crushed at home by 27 points 52-79 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Partizani outrebounded Studenti 51-35 including 23 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The former international point guard Ornela Lalaj (173-1994) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and American guard Amarah Coleman (180-1996, college: DePaul) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Partizani players scored in double figures. At the losing side international Marina Pellumbi (168-2002) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Xhesika Toska (172-2000) scored 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Partizani maintains third place with 8-3 record having just one point less than leader Flamurtari. Studenti at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Partizani's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tirana to the arena .
