Sixth-ranked Nassjo (13-14) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Jamtland (23-5) on Sunday. The visitors from Ostersund managed to secure only one-point victory 100-99. However their fans expected much easier game. Jamtland dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Nassjo's 42. 28 personal fouls committed by Nassjo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard CJ Jackson (185-1996, college: Ohio St., agency: Blacktop Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists. Swingman Anes Zekovic (198-1995) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Charles Barton (193-1992, college: Oregon St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 assists and American center Dartaye Ruffin (205-1991, college: Drexel) added 20 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Nassjo. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Jamtland have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain second place with 23-5 record having just two point less than leader Boras. Nassjo at the other side keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost. Jamtland are looking forward to face Norrkoping (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Nassjo will play against Fryshuset and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
