Regular Season Round 29: Dziki Wwa - Krosno 74-70

Very expected game in Warszawa where 12th ranked Miast Szkla (13-16) was defeated by second ranked Dziki (22-8) 74-70 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Michal Aleksandrowicz (192-1989) stepped up and scored 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and American guard Marcus Azor (182-2000, college: UMass Dartmouth) chipped in 17 points. Michal Jankowski (191-1987, agency: Interperformances) responded with 17 points and forward Maksymilian Zagorski (198-1999) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Dziki. They maintain second place with 22-8 record having just two points less than leader Walbrzych. Miast Szkla lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Dziki will meet Slask (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Miast Szkla will play against HydroTruck and hope to secure a win.
