Regular Season Round 22: Saint Vallier - Chalons-Reims 72-92

Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Chalons-Reims (14-8) outscored on the road bottom-ranked Saint Vallier (6-16) 92-72 on Tuesday. Chalons-Reims made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Chalons-Reims outrebounded Saint Vallier 37-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. Serbian Djordje Milosevic (199-1993, agency: PEPI SPORT) fired 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Croatian forward David Skara (203-1995, college: Clemson) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four Chalons-Reims players scored in double figures. Cameroonian guard Fabien Ateba (192-1991) produced 16 points and 4 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and power forward Fabien Paschal (205-1991) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Chalons-Reims have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Lille. Loser Saint Vallier stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. They share it with Aix-Maurienne. Chalons-Reims will meet at home Aix-Maurienne (#17) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Saint Vallier will play against the league's leader Saint-Quentin and hope to secure a win.
