Very expected game when 10th ranked Kalmar (4-24) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Umea (16-11) 107-91 on Tuesday. Umea looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Bryan Jefferson (201-1994, college: Mary) who scored 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international point guard Gustav Hansson (185-1995) chipped in 18 points and 8 assists. Umea's coach Boris Balibrea used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Jamaure Gregg (201-1999, college: NSU) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and center Tobias Sjoberg (205-1997, college: Marist) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests.
