Very predictable result when first ranked Gandia (18-2) smashed at home 13th ranked Jorge Juan (1-20) 80-50 on Saturday. Gandia dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Jorge Juan's 20. They outrebounded Jorge Juan 54-35 including a 40-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Center Borja Soriano (208-1996, college: TWU) fired 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Alejandro Terrades (196-2001) chipped in 6 points and 9 rebounds. Gandia's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players saving starting five for next games. Antonio Mira produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and Guillermo Baeza (-2002) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Gandia have a solid three-game winning streak.
