Regular Season Round 26: Slask 3 - Olesnica 79-62

Very expected game in Wroclaw where 13th ranked Olesnica (8-18) was defeated by seventh ranked Slask 3 (13-13) 79-62 on Saturday. Slask 3 dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Olesnica's 30. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was center Karol Kankowski (205-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Jakub Pietowski (182-2005) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds. Kacper Kuta (196-1994) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Wojciech Sienkiewicz (187-2001) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Slask 3 maintains seventh position with 13-13 record, which they share with Legionowo. Olesnica lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Minsk Maz.. Slask 3 will meet Stal Ostrow 2 (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olesnica will play against Koscian (#3) and hope to secure a win.
