The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Podgorica: Buducnost (#1) and Podgorica (#2). Buducnost (16-0) crushed visiting Podgorica (12-4) by 28 points 87-59. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Podgorica. Buducnost forced 19 Podgorica turnovers and outrebounded them 40-21 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Marija Lekovic (170-2003) who scored 15 points and 6 assists. Bosnian center Jovana Markovic (187-1997) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds. Four Buducnost players scored in double figures. Hajdana Scepanovic produced 8 points and Nikolina Ilic (180-2003) added 13 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Buducnost have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-0 record. Podgorica at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Buducnost are looking forward to face Decic (#5) in Tuzi in the next round. Podgorica will play at home against Niksic and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
