There was an upset when higher ranked Montbrison (9-9) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Mondeville (8-10) 76-58 on Saturday. Mondeville forced 28 Montbrison turnovers. The best player for the winners was Vaciana Gomis (172-2002) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. The former international point guard Sabrine Bouzenna (169-1993, agency: Areus Sports) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals. Four Mondeville players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Nukiya Mayo (190-1998, college: Towson) who recorded 26 points and 7 rebounds and center Sirine Mehadji (190-2000) added 8 points respectively.
