Regular Season Round 21: Brindisi - Milano 79-98

Serie A top team - Milano (17-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Brindisi (11-10) 98-79. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Brindisi. Milano made 23-of-28 charity shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Brindisi was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international power forward Nicolo Melli (205-1991) stepped up and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners and American guard Billy Baron (188-1990, college: Canisius, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 21 points. Milano will play against league's second-placed Virtus BO in Bologna in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Brindisi will play on the road against Napoli (#15) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
